English Teacher

 

The Role

We are looking to recruit a full-time English Teacher at Hartshill School. The post will be for 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

Provide high quality teaching and learning. To teach a given timetable ensuring that individual students meet their personal targets through:

  • Planning and delivering high quality lessons
  • Managing student behaviour effectively
  • Effective marking and feedback
  • Setting appropriate homework

Experience

Understanding of relevant professional subject pedagogy. Expected level of practice and professional responsibilities as defined by the teacher standards. Experience within Key stages 3 & 4 in English.

Degree or QTS essential.
